Manuela Pflüger has created holistic opportunities for horses and their owners with the “Art Reitsport” center: training, riding, and therapy. As a successful Western rider, trainer, and osteopath, she offers therapeutic measures such as rehabilitation and wellness programs in addition to riding, courses, seminars, and vacation cover for horses. Since 2017, she has been supported by our Sascotec horse treadmill and aqua trainer. Manuela Pflüger chose our aqua trainer because it offers sufficient space and is therefore suitable for horses of all sizes.

A heart rate monitor is used during Aquatrainer sessions. This allows overexertion, for example in horses with lung disease or at the beginning of training, to be quickly detected and immediately stopped. Manuela Pflüger’s center aims to promote movement and mobility in horses and help them build the right muscles. In addition to the Aquatrainer, Manuela Pflüger also uses a treadmill for training. The speed of the Sascotec device is continuously adjustable, and the adjustable incline is a great help for training and convalescence. The heart rate monitor is also used on the treadmill. In addition, Manuela Pflüger often takes slow-motion recordings, which allow her to closely observe the footing of the horse’s forehand and hindquarters, which has already helped with some farrier appointments.
